Rogers (Te Wairoa) Hut
Whirinaki Te Pua-a-Tāne Conservation Park
Built in 1952 from the bush by Forest Service legend Rex Forrester, this hut is to be maintained and preserved as a historic site.
Forrester named the hut after his son who was born while it was being built
