This is a new track, it has only just been cut through the bush between Urchin and Umukarikari. It is not complete, there is a 600m bush bush still at the Umukarikari end. There are also no marker poles yet down the open ridge from Sharp Cone. This track should be completed this comming summer. When it is it will be an ideal day loop for a party wanting a glimpse into the Kaimanawas
