Monument Hut, in the Hopkins - a handy evening walk in for those heading up the Hopkins or Huxley the next day.

  • Gregg I walked up here with the family several years ago. Great little walk for kids - I understand you can mountian bike it now and am planning on this with the kids end of third school term. When we were there a lot of keas came to the hut - about 12. The kids had a creat time with them. Found the fishing good in the pool below the hut. Nice area and well worth the visit. Greg
