A 6-7 bunk hut reached by walking up the jollybrook and taking cold stream tribuary. Good facilities and water close by also access into Glenrae river and onto surrounding peaks. Walking up cold stream to the hut requires quite a lot of time actually walking up the stream (hence the name) but isnt difficult and makes for an easy overnighter.

Access from first swingbridge over the hurunui when driving up lake sunmer road. Walk up jolliebrook and take cold stream tribruary to reach hut. Map helps but easy enough to find without 1.
