Makino Bivouac
The Makino Bivouac is very basic, consisting of a waist height A-frame of corrigated iron on the forest floor. No water is available at the bivvy itself, though there is a stream a few hundred yards down the hill to the south. There is no door, and no facilities are provided. For those after comfort, the nearby Makino Hut may be a more enjoyable option.
