Jaquiery Stream Shelter

Information may be incorrect: you are not viewing the latest version of this page. This version ID 2137 created 20 January 200720 January 2007 by madpommadpom.

Jaquiery Stream Shelter (sleeps 2, river water, dilapidated) is located at the confluence of Jaquery Stream and the Grebe River, on the north-west bank. It provides a convenient emergency shelter for anyone trapped on the 'wrong' side of the Jaquiery after rain, and also serves a base for exploring the Jaquiery, and continuing over to Lake Roe.

The hut is in dilapidated condition, and has no facilities beyond a rickety table. A canvas groundsheet was present when I stayed (3 days waiting for river levels to drop) and is hand to patch the holes in the walls.
