Worsley Hut
12 bunk (DOC say 20 but there's only 12 mattresses and 12 places for them) hut at the mouth of the Worsley on Lake Te Anau.
Popular with boaties who like to get to the 'head of the lake' for a bit of fishing (and drinking). Flood prone, as photos on the hut wall show: boats moored to the hut deck, people fishing out of the window ...
A good starting point for explorations west into the Dark, the Wild Natives / Bligh Sound, over to the Glaisnock, or back round to the Clinton via Indecision Creek.
