Robey Steam Engine on Larry's Creek Track

This steam engine is a beauty! It is beside the last shaft dug circa 1910 to exploit the Caledonian gold reef which was discovered in 1872. This particular operation failed to intersect deeper levels of the reef below old workings and was abandoned.
There are various other relics beside the Larry's Creek tracks. About 5 minutes from this steam engine across the creek/river are the remains of a 10 stamp battery used to crush gold bearing quartz.
