Leitch's Hut
Whareorino Conservation Area
Really enjoyable easy 2-3hr walk. If you wear gaiters and good water proof boots you will get there with dry feet.If not then there is a coal/woodburner there to dry them buy. Good hut, about 16 bunks and good toilet out the back.Looking forward to going back for a day or two to relax. Hoping next time to see the long tailed bats.
