Mount Reeves Track
- 5 hr – 6 hr return by the same track
- Easy/medium
Mt. Reeves is a nice little peak on the eastern side of the Tararua ranges. There are good views over the patchwork of farmland in the Wairarapa plains and west into the hills. It has the distinction of being part of the original route over the southern Tararuas, first pioneered in the 1930's.

Good day trip if weather is rougher on the west side of the Tararuas. Sheltered for most of the way with the last being mostly in sub-alpine plants such as dracophyllum etc. Some views.
