Mount Richmond Forest Park

Information may be incorrect: you are not viewing the latest version of this page. This version ID 6986 created 8 December 20098 December 2009 by Ocky_Ocky_.

This 6 bunk hut lies on the western edge of Mt Richmond Forest Park and is only 1½ hours walk from the Aniseed Valley. The hut has a wood burner and water is taken from the nearby Hacket Creek. Bed layout is in 3 separate bunks and there is no seating available. Unfortunately this hut has a bit of a wasp problem. A great place for a family tramping trip (if your not allergic to wasps!).
