Valley of the Trolls Rock bivvy

Mount Aspiring National Park

Rock bivvy formed by an overhanging cliff. Probably enough room for about a dozen people but the northern end is very exposed to northerly down valley winds. Some drippage off the cliff also doesn't make part of the bivvy suitable either. There's enough room to pitch a couple of tents.

Location on the map is approximate. It is west of the lakes on the valley floor but not obvious when down there looking up.

Water supply is 40m down a very steep slope and then 50m away horizontally.
