Despite the abundance of boulders in the Valley of the Trolls, there is vertually no natural shelter here. One place where there is a bivy lies about 40m up the western wall of the valley where a natural overhang provides good shelter for 6-8 people. The view from here out over the valley is grand but there is no water source here. You're looking at the nearest water in the photo so make sure your bottles are full before you climb up to the bivy!
