Done this trip several times, with sea kayaking and camping from Howick and Bucklands Beach. Also done the tramp over to Rangitoto too. It's never a let down, always great views and amazing to get away from the Auckland crowds, as it's rarely that busy. Interesting walks on Motatapu and great views to Rakino, Rangitoto, Auckland and across to Waiheke and further to the Great Barriers. | |
