Some sandflies here and there. Still thigh-deep in places in mid-Summer. Cross over, cross back, sometimes down the middle, dozens of times. Rocks slippery. Turbulence can make seeing foot placement tricky. Can be like crossing on roller-skates without looking down. Exit is in a large gully, in sight of farmland. Large cairn. Have added photos :) | |

Excellent walk. Snow of the river flats, but the water wasn't quite as cold as I expected. Some crossings were thigh-deep. I followed the fresh footprints of two dogs and two people down the lower section -- hunters perhaps. |
