Hard to navigate slip on Robinson River route
Part of the Robinson River route between Palmers Road and the Mid Robinson Hut has been destroyed by a slip. Location: E1523004 N5293747 NZTM2000. Access up the valley is now only possible when river levels are low. The route requires several river crossings and climbing up and down gravel banks. First published on 1 May 2023.
