For	Dickey Flat campsite
Alert	Crown Tramway Track partial closure The Crown Tramway section of the Karangahake Windows Walk from Ohinemuri Bridge is closed due to large landslips. There is no access to Dickey Flat Campground from Ohinemuri/Karangahake car park. DOC is exploring options to mitigate these risks. We do not have a timeframe when this site will re-open. An alternate route from Dickey Flat Campground or vice versa from Karangahake/Ohinemuri can be accessed via the Dubbo 96 track. Note there are water crossings and these can be fast flowing in heavy rain. The Crown Tramline/pipeline walk can be accessed from Dickey Flat Campground up to the Windows Walk. Alert	Goat control operation Motutapere Hut A goat control operation is planned to take place from this hut and in the surrounding area from 21 March - 26 March 2023. The contractors will have dogs and visitors to the area can expect to hear firearm noise. Bunk availability will be reduced during this time. First published on 20 March 2023.
