Zekes hut
Outside of the hut. There is a great view of Mt Ruapehu from the high point on the track from State Highway 1 to this hut. A good little tramp in a strange little reserve.

Andrew.Watson I parked on some gravel right next to SH1
THe track starts pretty close and has orange doc markers.
I dont think permission is required to use the track.

Haqii Did you have access issues? the gate from SH1 was locked last time I went past.
