Little Canyon Col - an alpine route over a tough pass from the Ahuriri to the Hunter (are there any easy passes from the Ahuriri to the Hunter?!). Route climbs the scree fan to the left of the face at the head of the vally, until the base of cliffs is reached. Then sidles right across more scree (above high bluffs) until reaching more scree leading up to the pass.
