I`d slept in the tussock at the bushline,ready for the summit of Mt Haast in the morning.(near Springs Junction,Lewis Pass).Heavy fog at daybreak but arrived above the clag on the summit.A proper Spectre has your shadow,quite enlarged,in the centre of the halo.I reckon I was 5 or 10 minutes too late!Fab panorama,well worth the climb.
