Whangaehu Glacier - taken 5m from Whangaehu Hut door. The hut is perched atop a 200m bluff looking directly down onto the glacier's snout. Amazing views - just don't sleepwalk! Downstream the meltwater rushes down the valley to disappear into a chasm at the head of the Whangaehu valley.
