Lake Mistletoe Track

This short walk is surprisingly low key, given the grandeur of the Milford Road. It starts opposite the Te Anau Downs Motor Inn. The track leads through manuka scrub to a viewpoint overlooking the lake. From here, a track leads into beech forest sprinkled with toatoa and lancewood. Over a bridge, the track turns out onto the road. Follow the road back to the car park, and perhaps stop in for a coffee across the road!
