• glennj Good photo! I can guess where it was taken from. At the northern end of the lake showing in your photo there is a park bench in the middle of nowhere that you can sit on & look at the vista back down the lake toward where you took the photo from. It is where the route to Thompson's Flat hut leaves the lake.
