Tekinga It's certianly that. My son ,nephew and I came in from the fourth creek up the Evans River and climbed the ridge on TR from the horseshoe bend in it onto the tops, Big mistake should of carried on up the creek and climed out way further up as the scrub on the two little knobs before the actual tussock tops was almost impenetrable with a pack on. Other than that it's great spot though had to be alert to find the start of track down to Top Crooked Hut.

glennj It's a top spot! I'd like to revisit some time. I know some well travelled people who claim the Lake Morgan tops to be their favourite tramping area in NZ.
