This photo was taken from the swingbridge at the top end of the Morgan Gorge. Low light levels and water spray in the air make it difficult to get good photos from within the gorge.

Morgan Gorge stands out as one of the more spectacular of the many West Coast river gorges. The area is currently under threat of modification from a hydro power scheme development.
