This pic taken at the northern end of Harper Flat shows concrete fireplace remains indicating an old hut site. There is an old fruit tree, a little rusting iron and plenty of old bottles scattered about indicating former habitation. There was once an airstrip nearby. The former hut was probably connected with deer culling/venison recovery but I don't know the details.
