A trans alpine route between the Shotover river and Snowy Ck /Rees Saddle. This ridgeline overlooks Lochnagar(Goat Lake). The lake is hundreds of metres below on the other side. The lake sits at appx 1000m alt. This side is the Pine Ck basin. Looking from benches below an unnamed pass at 1950m.
