Thermal image

Thermal image - I found out accidentally that the night vision of my camera shows exactly how the heat is distributed inside the stove, very helpful tool for improving gas flow inside! Oh sorry. /supergeek mode off/ It's clearly visible that the cooking surface does not see a lot of the heat, which is why it takes over 20 minutes for a litre of water to boil as it is at the moment. I am planning to put in one or two "labyrinth" plates that force the hot gases to recirculate towards the front (the wood loading door), and only then go towards the chimney, flowing along the whole cooking surface. That should result in super fast cooking times; there is multiple times more heat than needed for cooking, I just need to make sure it gets to the cooking surface.
