A short distance from the East Matukituki, through which flows Kitchener stream is Aspiring Flats. Coveniently located is a rock bivvy site called 'Rock of Ages'. Mt.Aspiring NP

aardvark Moirs guide suggests it sleeps up to 4 in most weather. Even given the parts not seen here , 4 in wet weather would be battling with some moisture issues.

dicey Amazing area and a top spot, but don't stay here when it's raining, not alot of shelter and water flows through the bivvy.
