East Harbour Regional Park

This park comprises two separate blocks: the forested hill block around Eastbourne, and a "lakes block" of scrub and wetlands around Pencarrow Head. Butterfly Creek is a famous picnic area. The park is accessible by road from Wellington, or by taking the Day's Bay ferry from Queen's Wharf in Wellington.
