This old shed is next to the old homestead on Mikonui Flat.

Beyond the shed is the Mikonui River and then major tributary the Dickson River. The large mountain to the left of picture is Mt Bowen(1985m) Bowen can be climbed easily enough from Mikonui Spur biv.

The sharp peak to the right of Dickson River in the photo is Remarkable Peak(1790m) It displays spectacular rock faces to the east. It can be accessed ok from Healey Creek hut via Healey Spur & Galena Ridge.
