Ship Cove marks the point where James Cook stopped off five times during his voyages to make repairs and restock supplies. This short walk sets off from the northern end of the grassy area, leading through bright coastal forest. The track winds gently uphill before coming to the mossy waterfall. A track leading out to Cape Jackson (5 hours) sets off from here.
