This picture was taken from just north of the Newton Range biv. I took it to show the band of ultramafic rock across the Arahura valley. This band is one of the sources of jade entering the Arahura River. Less well known is that there is also an ultramafic rock outcrop on the Newton Range west of the bivvy.
