This is just a small section of the alpine skyline as seen from Hokitika. Parts of the Styx, Crawford, Kokatahi & Toaroha catchments are shown. These are all tributaries of the Hokitika River.

The snow capped peaks, from the left are the Browning Range, the middle section is main divide including Mts Griffiths & FitzGerald. The obvious pass is Clarkes Pass. Further to the right is a little more main divide but mainly the Toaroha Range.
