This hut is located 3kms up the Camp Creek access track to the Alexander/Kaimata Range tops. A sign at the old hut site indicates a two minute side track walk to the hut. Camp Creek hut is very well appointed having been built to house possum & vegetation researchers & is not your normal NZFS or DOC style hut. The track as far as the hut has had a trim earlier this year.
