We visited this hut as a day trip from the Marble Hill camping area. It seemed a good comfortable hut with plenty of firewood about but had not had many recent visitors. [The lower reaches of Pell Stream and the Alfred River it flows into were mined for gold in the early days. Nature has healed the scars but there are still plenty of signs if you know what to look for]
