Takes me a couple of days to get there, but well worth it. Nice trip through McGregor Biv on way in and over Arete on the way out. The tracks through Park Forks are now unmarked, for some peculiar reason. Nobody I have ever met in the Tararuas has agreed with DOC's decision to rip out these markers in the interior.
