The track between Field and Kime Huts in the Tararua Forest Park. A mostly forgettable trip I did with a stranger who was a friend of a friend. We made it to Kime then high tailed it back out to Otaki Forks. These conditions speak to why it can be so dangerous on the Tararua (or any!) tops when the weather turns blizzard.
