From car park follow signs along Hacket track. Cross swingbridge or carefully ford river. After about an hour take left fork and follow the path over more bridges then uphill. The next part leads you through a native forest - good agility needed to clamber around trees and up some steep banks. The falls flow over the path so they can't be missed. It is possible to follow the path after the falls up a hill which brings you out onto (for want of a better word) a meadow with a picnic table. A toilet is hidden in the surrounding bush. Retrace your steps to the car park.
The track is also used by mountain bikers so beware
