Goose Bay Track

This short track sets off opposite the Omihi Camping Area, crossing railway tracks and entering a bright, regenerating forest of mahoe and pepper tree. The track sidles alongside the railway, past a small cave, then climbs easily to a look out. Good views from here along the coast, both north and south. If you are camping, this would be a good spot to sit and watch the sun come up.
