pmcke Good old Queenstown, it always looks good from above. I can't say I am quite so keen on actually being there.
We always used to shoot through Queenstown as quick as possible on our way to Glenorchy and that was in the old days. When there recently I felt it was even worse, like a city block from Auckland plonked in the middle of Otago.
While I acknowledge that Queenstown does the tourist thing well, it is best looked down on from above, like this photo, or maybe fleetingly from the inside of one of its fine retaurants after a hard tramping trip.
