Mt Ruapehu Crater Lake
Tongariro National Park
This trip goes up to the Crater Lake from the Top of the Bruce and then comes down via the Far West T-Bar. It is usual to visit the Dome Shelter on the way but on this particular trip it was too icy to get up to it. We didn't have crampons.
