I like to have this track loaded into my GPS whenever I am in the Kaimanawas because the boundary is not easily defined on the ground. The boundary is made up of lines drawn between the peaks on the map.

A permit is required to go onto the Air Charter land so this is a good way to check if you are tresspassing or not.

Air Charter have had a man in there issuing tresspass notices so this way you can tell which side of the boundary you are on.

The private land is within the boundary shown here and the Forest Park is outside. The label on Google that says "Kaimanawa Forest Park" is on the wrong side of the line.
