Whanganui Hut is one of the five huts on Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk. Located in a grassy flat and close to a beach. From here, only about one hour walk will take you to the water taxi landing / riding you back to the motor camp. I stayed a night in Panekiri Hut and spent two nights in tent at Korokoro and Waiharuru Campsites. Tapuaenui Campground is also a nice spot for an overnight.
