This hut has 4 bunks and can be reached via Makaroro Roadend track via Parks Peak Hut (15km, 5-10 hrs) and Makaroro Roadend riverbed route (15km, 6-10 hrs) which is recommended for experienced trampers only due to deep pools. Caution: Do not walk the riverbed when the water level is higher than normal.
