Arthur's Pass Village
Resort village surrounded by mountains within Arthur's Pass National Park.
The village is located just south of the pass itself in a narrow north-south valley with high mountains either side. The village has a DOC information centre, cafes, accommodation, camping, public toilets, and petrol.
Several very good day walks start right from the village. It is also possible to walk up to the pass, where there are more short walks.
