Mt Taranaki Summit

Mt Taranaki Summit

Summit, looking North East down the summit ridge which then falls away into the crater 30 or 40 metres below the ridge. Jan 2008

Comments

  • CraigNZ What an awesome and surreal feeling, the snow/ice seems to blend into the cloud blanket which sits about 400m below us. Here we are looking down the summit ridge from the summit rock which is the west rim of the crater. The north east rim can be seen in backgound.
