Approaching Fohn lakes from the Olivine ledge
As part of the five passes walk, day four should bring you up from the Olivine ledge to Fohn saddle. Fohn lakes make a great campsite to base yourself and explore.

pmcke Camping at Fohn Lakes is great and shouldn't pose any problems. However there is a good rock bivy amongst some boulders at the extreme northern end of the Olivine ledge. It was easy to find and marked with a cairn when I was last there, about 10 years ago.
