Camping at Cow saddle - Five Passes walk
After horizontal rain and strong winds the night before, the weather has cleared just enough to break camp and make for Fiery col.This is the only suitable campsite in the saddle.

pmcke There is actually a rock bivy amongst the boulders of Cow Saddle. It is over 30 years since I was there but I recall it required a tent fly to provide complete shelter. However it was quite comfortable during a rainy period. In saying that, this campsite doesn't look too bad, provided it is not too boggy.
