Jono82 If you plan to visit Lake Man, the route is steep and unmarked from the Bivvy. Take a printout of this route guide with you http://tramper.co.nz/?5458. Alternatively, continuing up the track to the ridge (20 mins) and then West to the small summit will give you adequate views of Lake Man and the Hope Valley without too much effort.
